Job Duties:

The General Hatch laborer follows hatching and processing protocols of a day old poults including but not limited to: Pulling plastic boxes filled with ready to hatch eggs and transfer them in to clean creates(this is a repeative process), stacking boxes, building boxes and sanitizing the work place. Within this process will be the expectation of consistent cleanliness and animal welfare standards being upheld. The Transfer crew Laborer carries out all directives in accordance with the Company’s policies and applicable laws. All Company information will be handled with complete confidentiality.

Work requires frequent bending, standing, and walking. Work is subject to tight deadlines and interruptions. The work environment includes exposure to dust, chemicals, fumes and varying temperatures. The Laborer must be physically able to lift and/or push and handle up to 50 lbs. frequently during the day. The Laborer can be asked to train in multiple departments and rotate departments based on Company’s needs.

Work days will vary depending on production. Start time is gaurenteed but end time may vary so flexiability is a plus. This will be between 40-50 hours a week.

Mon-5am start time until production is done (Normally 10 hours)

Tues-5am start time until production is done (Normally 10 hours)

Wed-On Call (May be required to come in 1/2 day)

Thursday-(1/2 day) 5am start time until production is done (Normally 5 hours)

Friday-5am start time until production is done (Normally 10 hours)

Saturday-(1/2 day) 10am start time until production is done (Normally 5-7 hours)

Sunday-OFF

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.67 per hour (18.04 After 90 Days)/AG Exempt

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
