Flock Cost Accountant
Finance and Accounting - Willmar, MN - Full Time
Position Purpose:
Desired Qualifications:
- This position would track costs, revenue and financial transactions associated with turkey breeding farms.
- Review and analyze all flock activities throughout the month.
- Record placements, movements and processing in M-Tech software.
- Record general journals and preparation for month end financials.
- Record farm inventory usage.
- Month end allocations across departments.
- Flock costing process at month end.
- Evaluate companies production costs by divisions.
- Monthly presentation to Breeder Mangers.
- Prepare production incentives
- Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation for the department.
Desired Qualifications:
- AA Accounting degree or equivalent accounting experience preferred.
- Experience with M-Tech and Dynamics software is a plus.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Must be Detail oriented.
- Strong organizational and follow up skills.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks at the same time.
- Financial analytical skills.

- Compensation is based on education and experience with a beginning rate of $25.00 per hour.
